KAPUKI'S ISLAND (2018)

"Kapuki's Island" is a commissioned piece for a friend's sister. This portrait is in memory of Kapuki, her sister's dog. This fantastical portrait depicts Kapuki in his signature leather collar, on a Japanese Island. He is attracted by an opened bag of cheetos, which leads a radioactive trail to the water. Meanwhile, his owner is in her own cozy world, in her leopard bathrobe, fuzzy polar bear slippers, and a cheese plate... you know, as you do on a radioactive island.
